Jeff Fryer is the founder of The Fryer Group, a fractional CMO firm for semiconductor, AI hardware, and B2B tech companies. He is one of the most referenced fractional CMOs in the semiconductor and AI hardware ecosystem, helping growth-stage and mid-sized engineering-led teams turn deep technology into commercial traction, building their commercial and go-to-market (GTM) engines that scale.
With over two decades of experience, Fryer has held leadership roles across high-growth tech firms. At Arm, he built the company’s first global social media function and helped scale its developer platform to support global silicon launches. At Kiterocket, he led digital strategy and launched the agency’s AI Task Force, guiding GTM and brand positioning for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing clients.
Earlier in his career, Fryer led digital strategy at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and spent ten years in the entertainment industry, where he built brands that balanced creativity and commercial results.
He is also active in the Austin technology ecosystem as a member of the Austin AI Alliance.
Fryer holds a bachelors degree from Western Illinois University and received Executive Education from The University of Michigan, The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and The Wharton School He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, two children, and their Labrador, Louis.
